Meet the Fremont Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Fremont
We’re the crew that shows up in your driveway when the garage door won’t lift at 6 a.m. or when the opener starts grinding like a coffee maker full of gravel. Every technician here works to the same rule Marcus set in 2015: the customer sees the failed part before anyone quotes a replacement. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is we’ve gotten faster at diagnosing and better at explaining what we’re seeing in plain English.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner
I started Servo in 2015 after ten years of watching customers get quoted prices for parts they never saw. That ends here. I still run calls when we’re stacked up, and I review every photo record before it goes to the customer - Clause 4 of The Haven Standard means the technician photographs the failed torsion spring, the cracked logic board, the bent trolley carriage, and the customer gets that evidence with their written scope. My specialty is the weird stuff: vintage Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster conversions, custom wood door balancing, anything the big shops in San Jose say they “don’t really do anymore.” I live in the Niles district with my wife and two kids, and I coach a U-12 soccer team that loses with enthusiasm.
Diego R., Lead Technician
Diego’s been with us since 2019, and he’s the reason our spring replacement average time in Fremont sits under 45 minutes. He’s certified on LiftMaster and Chamberlain commercial operators, but his real skill is listening - he’ll let a customer describe a “clicking noise” for two minutes before he opens the panel, and half the time he’s already narrowed it to the limit switch or the capacitor. Diego grew up in Centerville, still lives there, and commutes on a 1982 Honda motorcycle that he admits “runs on stubbornness and WD-40.” He handles most of our emergency calls in the Irvington and Mission San Jose areas because he actually answers his phone at 10 p.m.
Jennifer K., Senior Installer
Jennifer joined us in 2021 after eight years installing for a big-box retailer that shall remain nameless. She specializes in Clopay and Amarr full-replacement jobs, and she’s the one who measures twice, orders once, and still shows up with the right jamb hardware even when the existing framing is out of plumb by half an inch. Her pet peeve is installers who eyeball track alignment - she uses a laser level on every job, and she’ll explain why in detail if you ask. Jennifer lives in Warm Springs, trains for triathlons on the Alameda Creek Trail, and has a rescue pit bull named Bolt who is, in her words, “a coward with good PR.”
Aisha T., Service Coordinator
Aisha is the voice you hear when you call (669) 333-7846 at 2 a.m. because your door is stuck open and your flight leaves in four hours. She’s been with Servo since 2020, and she dispatches our technicians across Fremont, Union City, and Newark with a mental map of traffic patterns that Google hasn’t figured out yet. Aisha holds the dispatch record for getting a technician to a Mission Valley customer in 22 minutes during rush hour. She grew up in the Bay Area, went to Ohlone College, and she’s the one who makes sure every customer gets their documented photo record link within two hours of the technician leaving. She also bakes aggressively for the office and denies that her snickerdoodles are a retention strategy.
Tomás V., Apprentice Technician
Tomás started with us in 2024 after completing a vocational program at Chabot College. He’s currently working toward his full technician certification under Diego’s supervision, and he’s already competent on standard torsion spring replacements and Genie screw-drive opener troubleshooting. Tomás is the one who asks the questions the rest of us stopped asking, which sometimes surfaces a solution we missed. He grew up in Hayward, lives with his grandparents in the Glenmoor area, and he’s saving up for his own tool truck. His current project is learning to diagnose circuit-board failures without just swapping parts - “the expensive way to guess,” as Diego calls it.
One Standard, Every Job

Every person on this page works to The Haven Standard, the documentation and accountability system Marcus helped build in 2015. Clause 1 means you get a flat, written price and written scope before any work starts - no exceptions, no “call for a quote” runaround. Clause 4 means the technician photographs the failed part before quoting a replacement, and you get that photo record with your invoice. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every technician’s work, backed by a terms page, not a handshake. We’re independently owned and operated here in Fremont, not a franchise, and we hold our own license and insurance. Haven contributes the standard; we do the work. If something’s not right, we make it right. That’s been the deal since day one.
